The journey home

Description: Photos of the journey home from Florida. [b]Journaling says:[/b] This was one trip where we were looking forward to going home. So much had gone wrong from getting sick and spending most of the trip in the hotel to the extreme heat. The night before we were to leave Melinda got sick. Luckily we had a later flight so by the time we were going to board the flight she was feeling a bit better, at least well enough to go home. There were some delays with the flight, which wasn�t good since we had a connecting flight. When we landed in Detroit we were eager to get off to catch our connecting flight. When we finally disembarked I trip and skinned my knee, but I couldn�t take any time to think about it. The monitors were still saying that our flight was on time. We practically ran to the gate only to find that it had also been delayed. At that point I was able to tend to my knee. The second flight was a bit bumpier, but not too bad. We were thrilled when we finally landed.! Home sweet home! While we waited for our bags we called Mom to come pick us up. It was great to be home! Description: Photos of Melinda and I with Tiana and Naveen at Magic Kingdom. [b]Journaling says:[/b] The best experience we had meeting characters was getting to meet Tiana and Naveen. They were just leaving when we got to the place where they meet guests, but would be back out in about a half an hour. There were some other guests in line going to wait, so we decided to stay and wait as well. There was a wall to sit on and plenty of shade. It was nice and cool sitting in the shade. The wait didn�t seem all that long. We were very excited when they came back out. They spent a good amount of time with each guest. I don�t remember everything that we said to them. I know we asked Naveen if his cooking skills have improved at which point Tiana pointed that he still hasn�t learned anything other than mincing. They had a really funny conversation all about his mincing skills. It was hilarious! Their interaction with us was fabulous, but the chemistry between them incredible. Journaling says: Melinda and I had an amazing day at Hollywood Studios. We got there really early for rope drop and then did the Toy Story dash. Melinda got in line while I got fastpasses. I easily beat her the first two times. We then got to ride in the front row on the Great Movie ride. I went back to Pop to rest while Melinda did the Backlot Tour and finally got to see the Indiana Jones Stunt show. I joined her for lunch at the 50�s Prime time Cafe. Melinda rode Star Tours before we rode Toy story Mania once more where Melinda finally won. Overall it was a great day! Credits: -Hollywood by Britt-ish Designs
