Description: A letter to my niece on being a big sister. [b]Journaling says:[/b] Juno, I am so excited that you will be soon become a big sister. Having a sister is the best thing in the world because it means you will always have a best friend. There are some responsibilities though that comes with being the older sister. It will be your job to look out for and protect your little sister. You need to make sure that no one hurts her. You will be her defender and stand up for her. When things go wrong as they sometimes will you can always count on your sister to be there. You will need to learn to share. I know it�s not always fun to have to share your toys and clothes, but it is a part of being a sister. You will need to be a good listener. You must be patient with her because she won�t always be able to do everything you can do. Also part of being a big sister is that Annika will want to be like you, to copy you and do all the same things you do, which at times can be irritating, but when you�re older you will realize how wonderful it is to have your sister look up to you and want to be like you. Description: Juno meeting my Grandma Journaling says: Before Thanksgiving we decided it would be a good time to take Juno to meet Grandma Dilloway for the first time. We dressed Juno in a cute little outfit that we had bought for the occasion. She looked so cute. We were hoping to find Grandma in a good mood. When we got to the nursing home she was sleeping. She was surprised to have guests, especially Juno who she absolutely loved. She thought she was just a beautiful girl. She talked to Juno and held her. Juno was a very good girl. We didn�t stay too long, but it was such a great meeting. When Grandma passed away in April 2012 I was very glad that we had taken Juno to see her. When she is older Aunties will tell her all about the time she met her Great-Grandma Dilloway. We found the perfect dress in her closet; it had butterflies on the top and along the hem. She looked so cute. We weren�t sure how she would react to the butterflies. She enjoyed riding in her stroller on the way to the conservatory where the butterflies are. Once inside Melinda held her because the floors were wet for the butterflies. She wasn�t sure what was going on at first. There were a lot of people there and lots of butterflies flying around. Melinda and I tried to point them out to her. We took her into the orchid room where there were less people. She seemed to think it was fun watching them fly around. We tried to let her walk a bit in there, but she wasn�t too inclined. Out in the main room Melinda got a butterfly on her finger to show Juno. It was so cute when she reached out to touch it. It flew away before she could, but later she was able to touch the wings of a different one. Overall it seemed she had fun.
