Planting Flags on a rainy day

Description: Ok, a little bit of context. I work in a place that use to be a US Military Base across the Panama Canal. Every year since 2000 on the month of our Independency (from Spain, not USA) we plant 300 flags as a symbol of nacionality. Everyone on the campus can go and plant a flag. We have barbecue, a music band and everything. Last year was a very rainy day, situation that was actually good as was easier to plant these BIG flags. This was also the first time for my kiddo. Description: These girls are my friends since I was 5 years old. We started pre-k together, then kindergarten, to elementary, junior high and high school. They are not my best friends in the whole world, but is amazing to have these amazing women who know you for more than 30 years and still have time to hang out for a couple of hours once a month over a few drinks and "do you remember when..." phrases. Description: A real life story. Last year the place next to my building caught fire afecting the parking and the lower apartments of my building. Thanks God we live on the top floor and my husband was home early so he grab our son and was the first person to be out. Unfortunately a lady was out of town so she wasn�t able to move her car and it exploded on the parking. At the end there were none structural damages so we were able to sleep that night at home... just a little smokey smell on everything. Description: This is my favorite anecdote of my kiddo while growing up. He was two years old and enter the bathroom while I was showering and after looking at me ask "Mommi... where is your pipi??". I took all my didactic skills thinking of an easy way to point dofferents between boys and girls and start answering "Baby... mommy doesn�t have a pipi..." Then he interrupted me utterly shocked saying "YOU LOST IT???!!!" I laughed for more than 15 minutes while my poor baby boy had this cute upset face can�t help it!
