Our Trip to the Dollar Store
Journaling: For Alex’s 5th birthday I took her to the Dollar Store with a grand total of five whole dollars to spend, one for each year of age. What a delightful experience she had as she filled the cart and whittled down the purchased to five items. The decision making process was a character builder for her. She made great selections and was so proud to pay for the merchandise all by herself.
