The first time I dyed my hair I was a Junior in high school. It was for a play where this blonde-haired, blue-eyed girl was supposed to be playing a Jew. Never wanting to do things “small” I did the extreme and went as dark as I believably could. After a few months, I was blonde again, and the cycle began. In the past 8 years, I’ve probably dyed my hair as many times - always for a show. I think my all-time favorite was when I went cherry-auburn for Dinner With Friends in 2007. After taking the red out before we moved to KC, I went right back less than a year later, after Ethan was born. I still toy with the idea of bleaching all the way back, but I just don’t know... Do blondes really have more fun?
