Travis was so very excited about his Pinewood Derby car this year, for it was the first year that he designed and made just about the whole thing by himself. It even had the requisite green paint, which is his favorite color. Even before the race he proclaimed himself the winner with a note attached to his car: Travis (winner of all times, car and car racer!) The evening of the event was loud, boisterous and so very exciting for all the boys, with friends and family cheering everyone on.
