My friend Tony made this recipe
for me the first time while I was
pregnant. And then I wanted it
every day, its so yummy! And
having “prego brain”, I kept calling
them “pancakes”, so around our
house, these are actually called
“Pregnancy Pancakes”!
Recipe:
French Toast:
8 large eggs
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
3 tbsp orange juice
Put in bowl and whisk.
Soak bread and cook.

Pecan Toffee Sauce:
1 cup unsalted butter
1 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Melt butter over medium-low heat.
Stir in brown sugar until blended.
Bring to boil until sugar dissolves.
Stir in cream and pecans; may spatter.
