See our barren money tree? This is a true representation of this month at the Golden house. In a short two day weekend, we managed to spend:
*$70-Princess from Humane Shelter
*$150-Dr. visit & medicine for Kelli
*$125-Tennis shoes & cleats for Avery
*$1,000-New hot water heater
*$450-Chevy truck repairs
To top it off, we later decided to cut our losses and trade in the Chevy truck that just had the repairs made-money down the drain PLUS a car payment {sigh}. The new kitten needs to go to the vet for her check-up and shots plus both dogs are due for the annual exams and shots as well. It really is a good thing we have money in savings to get us through tough times like these because when it rains it pours. If I were a betting person, I would, I would dare to ask myself "what next." However, I think I'll just stick with the hand we've been dealt for now!
