Journaling:
After lots of browsing the library and MANY books, Avery finally decided on Eugenie Clark, The Shark Lady, for her autobiography book report. She was instructed to read the book, draw a picture that represented it, and prepare index cards for a class presentation.

Avery did a fantastic drawing of Dr. Clark swimming with the sharks and got all of the information together on her index cards. Then it was time for the "costume" and luckily I was able to call a friend who let us borrow her lab coat. I made a name tag that said, "Dr. Eugenie Clark" and Avery took her snorkeling gear to wear. I must say that it turned out pretty cute!
