When we made the decision to get our first pet, I never imagined where we would end up. Here we are two dogs and two cats later. Did you know that puppies like to eat crayons? Did you know that when those crayons come back up they are just as bright and colorful as when they went down, but just with some extra mush to them? Did you know that dogs like to eat toilet paper, paper towels, and napkins? Well, our dogs do. Then they throw them back up - icky! Did you know that dogs can be moody and do things to spite you? Yep, they sure can. We made Lady get off the bed one night and she was so mad that she peed on the floor where I would step off and pooped on the side where Wes would step off!Did you know that cats shed - ALOT? Of course we knew that, but we didn't think they would love to lay on our clothes all the time. Oh and don't worry, they do their share of puking too.It really sounds miserable with 4 pets at home, huh? But ya know what? It's not. Despite all of that stuff, these animals bring so much joy and happiness to our lives that you don't even think about it (until it happens). They are always waiting at the door for you when you walk in, ready to love you despite the day you've had or how you acted when you left that morning. The minute you pick up a ball or toy, they are right there and ready to play. I couldn't imagine our lives without our pets!
