The most anticipated event of the school year at Glen Forest is Bingo night! Charlotte was beside herself with excitement. It was only the two of us this year since Travis was at Tae Kwon Do. We got there early to ensure a front row seat, and got our cards, food, and raffle tickets all taken care of before the first number was called.Now, we've been a very lucky family when it comes to Bingo night, having won something all but one night of the times we have gone. I told Charlotte that this may happen again, but she was thrilled just to be there with her friends, being silly and eating pizza and popcorn. We got through half of the night before we won a bingo, and by that time most of the good prizes had already been taken. She was able to get a new jump rope as her prize I figured that we wouldn't win anything else, and I was thinking about leaving early. And I'm glad that I didn't. Because we won the two last raffle prizes of the evening - a new bike and season passes for two to King's Dominion! Charlotte was out of her mind excited by this point, saying that this was her best bingo night ever! And I don't think that we could ever surpass it, either. But I'm sure glad that she had the time of her life, because it was fun for me to watch, too!
