Journaling: It was a beautiful summer day and we were out enjoying the weather. I was talking with Daddy when I noticed that you had wandered down in the yard all by yourself. I was a little worried at first - you were far away and what if you decidcd to take off running toward the road? Instead of disturbing you, I sat and watched as you explored the yard. A few times I noticed you put your hands face up, as if asking a question. I could almost hear you in your own language ask, “Train, where are you?” On your way back up toward the house, you found a stick. This stick stuck with you the rest of the afternoon - you took it everywhere. It became your exploring buddy.
