Journaling Reads: Josh had wanted to win the Year Of a Million Dreams ears since the moment he saw someone wearing them, back in Jan. ‘07, and through 4 trips we still hadn’t even come close! The only way to get them is to be in the right place at the right time. But, on the day of our DPOTD 1st anniversary, while waiting in line to ride the Astro Oribtor, it happened! Josh and I noticed a LOT of people walking away with dream ears over by Ariel’s Grotto. It only took a moment to realize that the Dream squad must over there handing out the ears! I told josh to run for it and I’d catch up. I tried to quickly explain to the group what was going on and the next thing you know, all 16 of us were bailing out of the line, hopping the railing and running like crazy people to get our dream ears! They are our favorite ears and we still take them back to the park with us today.
