Our first port on
our Alaskan cruise
was Sitka. We had
to take the small
boats from the cruise
ship out to the port,
which is called
“tendering”. The tender
boats ran constantly
during the few hours
that we were in port.
Lilah and Casey were
so excited to ride on
all the boats, but it
was especially exciting
when the tender boat
driver pulled Casey
onto his lap and let
him steer the boat to
shore! Lilah was not
to be left out, so she
slowly crept up there
too and they took turns
steering us to shore!
