This is for the Tuesday template challenge (10/14) it is all about firsts so I decided to do it on my first dog.

journaling reads:
I never had a dog growing up,
and I always wanted one.
About a year after Kevin and I
were married I woke up one
Saturday morning and told him
that I wanted to get a puppy.
We headed to the Humaine Society
and instead of a puppy we brought
home Sugar. The only dog that
didn’t bark at us and who came
immediately to get some loves.
When we moved to Australia I was
so sad to realize that she couldn’t
come too. Luckily my nephew said
that he would take her. Sugar has
a good home and I got to see her
when I went to the States. For
and old dog she sure looks good
and still came to me when I whistled.
I love my first dog - there will be
no other like her.
