Barcelona Cathedral also known as The Cathedral of
the Holy Cross and Saint Eulalia

The Barcelona Cathedral appears to be undergoing
perpetual construction. While it was built between
the 13th and 15th centuries, the main part was
completed around 1450. There are several altars
and crypts inside and several outside. Saint Eulalia was a co-patron saint of Barcelona. She was
martyred at the young age of 13. In the
courtyard, 13 geese are kept in her memory.
The architecture is breathtaking, and you
don't have to be Catholic to appreciate
the work on the altars.
