It was Barb’s choice, and she hosted at her house. We had a great time! She had yummy salad and pizza! The book was really really good. I enjoyed it so much. It’s about black maids in the 60’s in Jackson, Mississippi. It was so interesting! And really different than anything I’d ever read before. I fell in love with the characters! I think everyone relaly liked it.

I think it is so neat that you are in a book club. Sounds like a bunch of fun! Beautiful page...great choice of a kit to use...it really goes well with the book cover!
