Journaling reads: "I grew up listening to stories about the family poodles. They all passed away of old age long before I was born, but I feel as though I knew and loved them, too. Their legacy has lived on though-my first puppy was a miniature-poodle, Blackberry; and Grandmother adopted a tiny toy poodle puppy late in life, Suki. These four dogs seem somehow larger than life. Their stories have given me a lifelong love of poodles and although we’ve chosen to share our lives with Border Collies and Aussies, for their energy and athleticism, I look forward to one day having a tiny toy poodle of my own and, however silly, I intend to honor my family history by naming her Cricket."
