Journaling: We decided to stroll along Broadway Street to find a place for dinner. We had to walk the entire length to find the right spot, of course. The Circus Cafe caught our eye as we passed by the first time, so we ended up back there to eat. The decor was amazing, but the food was even better! I tried the New England Clambake Chowder - and I wasn't disappointed! Clams, chicken and crab meat in a yummy thyme seasoned cream base. Oh, YUM! I tried to get the recipe, but with no luck. Unfortunately, the chef told me that if I wanted to have it again, I'd have to come back to the cafe for more. But since Saratoga Springs is a bit too far of a drive for a quick lunch, it'll just have to wait until we ever return to the city again. But then maybe I can try to recreate it at home. Now, there's thought...
