When he heard the name of the hotel we were going to stay at his face lit up with a big smile. 'Can we, please, take a swim in the swimming pool when we get there? Please, please, please, please',
he begged me. There was no reason not to grant this wish and I knew he would love it. So I told him 'Yes, on Sunday, after breakfast, you can visit the pool'. And he was thrilled. Much more thrilled over that, than over the wedding reception we would attend on Saturday night. I’ll guess that’s just the sweet water-lover 7-year-old in him speaking!?!
