On Monday, as we were driving to the Disney Character Outlet in Fullerton before heading to Disneyland, I told the kids to look out for a place to eat. We suddenly saw this retro-style McDonald's and we knew exactly where we would have lunch. I told them that the original McDonald's had arches like that coming out of the buildings, and the one I remember most had an outside walk-up window with no indoor seating area, with picnic benches to eat at under the overhang of the roof. They thought that was pretty cool. Charlotte spied Ronald McDonald's footprints in the cement just outside of the entrance, so she tried them on for size. The verdict? Too big, naturally.
