Journaling:
During a Friday afternoon library visit, Avery found several kids books about knitting. She quickly decided it was something she wanted to try. We checked the books out and went about our busy weekend. Sunday afternoon, we headed to JoAnn's and Avery picked out her yarn and we finally decided on knitting needles based on the information provided in the library books. We didn't get a chance to start her first attempt until Monday evening after dinner at NaNa and PaPa's house. Avery quickly caught on to the basic introductory work, but beyond that it got pretty difficult. Handling two needles is kinda tricky for little hands and I must admit that I didn't do much better myself. I think we are going back to crochet until we get a little more experience under our belts.

Great pictures. LOVE that green title and the tape measure. You need somebody experienced to teach her and she will learn in no time!!!

Nice Design! I love the journaling, and how it is all down the right side! I like the papers you chose for the blocking! Fun title work too! (I would totally do the same thing as Avery at the library!!!)

Great pictures, great that you scrapped this, I'm sure she will get the hang of it one day soon after practice, love the tape measure and scattered elements, thanks for playing!

Oh my! So brave to do that! I love the focus that you captured of her trying to get it down pat! Sorry it was a lot harder than you thought

Wow! Good for her learning to knit. My mom knitted beautifully and that talent was lost on me. I like the way your journaling is placed. Nice paper matting.
