These ruts are still visible along the Oregon Trail route in Nebraska. We got a quick look at them before a major storm rolled in. The ruts are carved 2 feet deep into solid granite -- and that's AFTER more than 100 years of erosion! DS imagined himself leading the wagon train west.
Journaling reads: Only the ruts remain. The only visible evidence that thousands traveled one after another down this trail. They came seeking an American dream of freedom and prosperity. The same dream we chase today. Do you think they would be surprised if they knew?
