A.J. started talking about “playing hooky” about 2 weeks before his 3rd grade play. He was nervous about the performance in front of all the parents. He had a cameo as the MGM lion at both start and finish of the play. He was even having a hard time figuring out his ROAR... Initially, it sounded more like the character Chewbacca from Star Wars than a lion! With much coaching from both mom and dad, watching the real MGM lion on youtube, and practice, practice, practice... AJ got the “R” in there and sounded more like a lion after all! The best part was that he really, seriously enjoyed the performance. Once could never tell he had EVER been nervous at all with the ear to ear smile and dimples he sported throughout the show!
