after "patiently" waiting for nearly a month, avery's elf finally arrived overnight. avery wrote santa a note at the beginning of november asking when isabella could come. santa responded that he would let her leave the north pole and come visit sometime "between thanksgiving and before december 1st." needless to say, avery was excited to wake up and see that isabella was actually here. she even unpacked our advent countdown calendar overnight too. gotta love some elf magic!
