The journaling reads:
We made reservations at Buget car rental for an
economy car not knowing that Mama would be in a
wheelchair. After she broke her leg, she called Budget
to be told that all the larger cars were sold out.
So we decided to go and see if her scooter fit inside
the car that we had reserved. Upon check-in, they
asked Daddy if we wanted a larger car since some
were available. We were going to get one car size up,
but the attendant said that the Highlander should fit
any type of scooter insdie the trunk. Daddy paid for
the Toyota Highlander, which was a very nice, very
family friendly car. After we picked up the scooter,
we realized it was going to be hard to get the
scooter in and out of the car seeing as it was an SUV
and higher off the ground! Poor Daddy struggled with
the scooter a couple times a day, scratching the
interior of the trunk getting it in and out. By the
end of the week, we all glad to get rid of the car
and Mama's scooter as it gave Daddy a bad backache!
