Although Duchess has been apart of our family for four years now, you have not. So, really Duchess is your "first" dog. When we first brought you home you had never seen a dog before and you were terrified and frankly Duchess didn't like you either. However, over this past year, you two have become friends. You always open the door for her when you hear her bark, you love to take her for walks and you want to be the one who holds her leash and sometimes you even just reach down to pet her. You first look at me and sign "nice" because I am always telling you to be nice to Duchess. I hope one day you will really appreciate each other and you will be a dog lover and Duchess will be a toddler lover!
