I have difficult feet to buy shoes for. My feet are short, wide, and with a high instep. I have no talent for walking on high heels. I sometimes dream of elegant shoes, but I just can’t walk on them! I’m always so relieved to find shoes that fit me, even though they always seem to be so expensive. I guess that now that I’m 46, I will have to accept I will never have the elegant feet I long for..
