I realized that I had never brought the kids over to see the Awakening sculpture over at Haynes Point, so we went there after we had finished seeing the cherry blossoms at the tidal basin. They had so much fun crawling around on it, and I was amazed that Travis was able to climb up onto the knee. I would've loved to have taken photos of the face, but two people were lounging there and didn't want to move. Oh, well. But the sculpture was a very fitting thing to see at the awakening of Spring time in Washington, DC.
