Credits: Papers, elements, and alpha - Kristin Aagard (Oink Cluck Moo); Clips - Britt-ish Designs (Hang in There vol. 2); worn overlay - happy scrap girl Recipe: Texas Cow Chips 2 cups butter flavored shortening, 2 cups brown sugar, 2 cups white sugar, 4 eggs, 2 tsp. vanilla, 1 tsp. salt, 4 cups flour, 2 tsp. baking powder, 2 tsp. baking soda, 2 cups rolled oats (regular oatmeal), 2 cups cheap brand frosted flakes,½ bag (6 oz.) chocolate chips, ½ bag (6 oz.) white chips, 1 cup broken pecans, 1 cup coconut (optional) Blend shortening, sugars, eggs, and vanilla in one bowl. Mix all other ingredients in another bowl. Then blend in small portions into the wet ingredients. This gets really thick. Grease cookie sheets and use an ice cream scoop to scoop them out. 6 scoops to a sheet. Bake at 350º for 15 minutes. |
