Journaling: For a fairy godmother, Emily chose Krystal. We went to the beauty school early on Saturday morning with Emily’s hair washed and dried. They visited while Krystal added wax and carefully spun the curls. An hour later Krystal had finished an up-do fit for a princess. I helped Emily change into her “gown” and we raced off to the Dairy Ambassador contest where she pranced and danced to a sock hop theme.
