The journaling says:
We had gone to Panama City
Beach for WTB's Marriage Retreat.
At first Mama thought it was going
to be just another visit to a beach
like they had done in the Summers at
Mee-Maw and Grumpy's house. When
we got the hotel, everyone tried to
smell the dead fish smell and the other
smells associated with the beach. No
matter how hard we tried, we could
not smell the usual smells that we were familiar
with, instead we smelled clean, salty air. The
first night, we took a walk on the pier taking
in the beautiful sunset. During our time there
we were given a few hours of free time to
either spend with our spouse or with our children.
Mama and Daddy decided to take the girls over to
Shell Island since we had free boat passage for being
patrons of the hotel. After lunch, we packed the
camera and a few other things to take over the
island. When it came closer to the time, we walked
the pier down towards the boats. We took a fifteen
minute boat ride over to Shell Island. When we
got to the island, we expected to see tons of shells
instead all we saw were the clear blue waves
crashing in to the beautiful, clean, white sand!
At first we were not going to go into the water
but with all that beauty we
had to experience the Gulf of
Mexico first hand!

So cute! Love the expression on her face as she crashes through the waves! Love the vertical flow and the journaling too!

This is just gorgeous! I love the composition and the colours you used. We were considering a trip to Panama City and this may convince me!
