I made this page for my daughter Paige to go into her hope chest someday.
Credits: Papers and Elements - Jeni Hopewell (Pretties); Notepaper - Erica Zane (EZ Notes) Journaling reads: Paige I wanted you to have my recipe, so you can always make bread for your family. Love, Mama Lots of fresh ground whole wheat flour 1 cup oil 1 cup honey 6 cups very warm water 1 cup gluten 3 tbsp. yeast (SAF is the best!) 2 tbsp. salt In your Bosch bowl, put your oil and honey. Then put in your water and cover it with some of your flour and your gluten. Next, put in the yeast and start the mixer on 1. Put in your salt slowly and start adding the flour 1 cup at a time. Watch the clock, you don’t want to mix more than 6-8 min. Add your flour until it starts to clean the sides of the bowl. You might have to crank it up to 2 at this point. I always let it sit about 15 minutes to rest the dough. Don’t forget to spray your pans. You were always so good at shaping the dough! Bake at 350 for about 33 minutes. It might vary for your oven a bit. Bless your family with fresh bread! I love you darling sweet girl! |
