So, this photo can take a little bit of explanation. I know it's easy to see that it is a couple of legs and some bright pink crocks and that it's some concrete stairs of some kind. But do you know who it is sitting there, and why the flower in the hand and the two glasses at the stair case?

I think you might have guessed, but just so you know: it is me sitting there wearing the pink crocks and all. One of these days I'm going to buy me a new pair. Not pink, preferably. Anyhow, the photo was taken on the second Saturday of May. The little boy and I had sat there on our porch, soaking up a little sunshine. We brought water with us outside, the plain glass for me and the flower decorated for him.

And the flower. Now, let me tell you this: my kid almost never ever pick flowers to me. It's just not his thing. But this flower he picked. For me. Aww, I just wanted to have it documented. And this simple little silly self portrait did the trick.

So there you have it. A little photo explained.
