Journaling: We were at the hospital on January 10th to try to flip you around. You were breech
and the doctor thought we
might be able to turn you manually. So, we went to
the hopsital. The doctor
first did an ultrasound to see how you were in there and she decided that you needed to
be born. Your umbilical cord
was up by your head and
your fluid was running low.
So it quickly turned into your birthday. You were born
via a semi-emergency
c-section. When you were
born, it turned out that
your cord was wrapped
around your neck, which
could have ended badly
had we tried to have you
turned. You weighed in
at 5 pounds .3 ounces
and 19 inches long.
