On the 21st May 2011, we adopted Molly into our family. She was advertised on the Petshaven Animal Shelter website so the kids had seen her photo and I had read the blurb to them and we wanted to go and meet her. We haven’t had any dogs since Zak was put down over a year ago and Rusty was put down late last year, so our family wasn’t complete without a pet to love. So off we went to check out the dogs that they had rescued, and there were so many to choose from. We had the option of buying an 8 week old puppy, but I didn’t want to go through the puppy phase all over again, so we chose Miss Molly who was so friendly and full of energy. She just went crazy having a new home to come to and the kids just adore her to bits. We need to get her manners in check, but I’m so glad we’ve got her as part of our family.
