Journaling reads:
We had left John and Lake's house, getting
and early start on our road trip. After being
in the car for several hours we started seeing
fireworks off in the distance. It was then that
we realized we would be missing the fireworks
display because we would be driving. Little did
we know that God had a bigger plan for our lives.
We had arrived in the outskirts of Chicago at dusk,
just when the fireworks started going off every other
minute. By the time we got to downtown Chicago,
the cars on the freeway had hit a standstill as every-
one was watching the fireworks over Wrigley Field.
It was amazing, sitting on the freeway, seeing the
fireworks, listening to the loud bangs all without paying
for parking, waiting for hours on end and just because
we happened to be in the right place at the right time!
