Journaling: For much of the afternoon, storm clouds had been threatening us. We really noticed them on the way from the Holy Steps to the Lateran. Since the clouds have been following us from the Forum and the Colosseum, we decided that we were storm chasers. However, it turns out that the storm was chasing us. Almost as soon as we got in a taxi to go back to the hotel for the evening, it started to dump on us. I think a little bit of hail was mixed in as well.
