Journaling: Transplanted… “Toto, I've a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore.” Moving halfway across the continent to Seattle is a big deal. Leaving friends and relatives behind is an even bigger deal. Nevertheless, in 2006 Dave and I and I pulled up stakes from Iowa to travel half way across the US to live closer to our daughters and grandchildren. We are adapting well to our new environment. |
