Journaling reads:
Baleigh had wanted to grow her hair out for a very long time. Mama stopped getting her hair cut short like she had been getting it. A little over a year, Baleigh’s hair started getting long again. Along with her longer hair, came the knots and snarls. Every morning Mama would tell Baleigh to brush her hair. Of course before Baleigh saw Mama, she had already brushed her hair. When Mama would put Baleigh’s hair up in braids, ponytails, etc, it wouldn’t be long before her hair was all over the place. This went on for months before Baleigh started to get really annoyed with her fine, thin hair. Shortly after Mama donated her hair, Baleigh started asking questions like if she could donate her hair. Of course we all thought it was just Baleigh talking about something, but not really meaning anything by it! One day in December Baleigh proclaimed she wanted to donate her hair. Mama told her she had to wait until it was closer to our move date in February. Baleigh was very sad about having to wait, but very eager to donate her hair. The day finally came for Baleigh to donate her hair. At first she was nervous but then as Miss Kelly showed her the length, she was excited about her giving her hair to a child in need.

Striking with gorgeous clusters and the multiple photos completing the story of Baleigh's generosity.

That's awesome...what a great girl! She looks so cute with her hair short! Perfect kit colors and such gorgeous clusters! Love it!
(P.S. Regarding your question on my layout...a rubber necker is someone who slows down traffic while they're gawking at something like an accident or someone getting a ticket.)

I like the series of photos taken documenting the hair cut donation. Super close up of "the cut" when pony tailed. Neat photo arrangement.

Awesome layout! Love the storytelling through the photos as well. Great photo clustering w/ellies & shadowing.
