Challenge 12- and 4 photos

I’ve sewn for as long as I can remember
and have enjoyed this hobby to the extent
that I’ve had a side sewing business for
40 years, although mostly retired now.

Megan calls- Mom, need your help with a
costume for the guard. The girl I ordered
the 2X for quit and the new girl is very
small. I’m moving and adjusting sizes best
I can but......PLEASE.....

The original pants measure 50 inches of
fabric in the hips. The child who wears
the altered pair has 36 in hips. Each pant leg has 7 pieces at angles. The only thing to do was cut it totally apart and start over. I did not have fun. It’s a good thing I am stubborn enough to
want to conquer every challenge I meet. This is not something I wish to ever repeat. The
sewing bothered myhands. The photos
