I loved reading your journaling. I am like your mother, who enjoys the background music, even if I never even pay attention to the words, beat, music, etc! I dont like sitting in a house filled with silence. there is something creepy about sitting, listening to the computer hum, the fridge make its noise. The only time I enjoy such quietness is when I am sleeping!!! And while the generation gap may be showing, half the time, I dont even know what's playing on in a store as I can't hear it over the chattering of the other customers. but I do know what you mean about the words being blasphemy, swear words and just not words we should fill our minds with. Its crazy what is being played, but like I said, half the time I can't even hear it. My husband on the other hand, must have ears like yours because he'll say "do you hear what they are saying" Its amazing how God made each of us different as far as what we can hear and not hear.

Starting with your fabulous stitched down title....wow- what a page! Love, love your journaling. I often have the house silent when alone. I think it is because I deal with so many noises throughout the day at work or just out and about.
