The photo isn't great - she wanted the picture taken in the tree outside and it was already dark out but it was her special day so that's what we did! Neat idea to capture the day 'before' the birthday. The layering accents the photo nicely.

I try to snap this special moments too and I agree you have to allow them to do it it their way even if you know the LO will suffer. That being said the photo isn't bad at all. I like the tilt on the LO adn the circles in the BG.

I like to take "last day" pics, too, but often forget. Love the framing and soft colors!
