Journaling Reads: Our very first Valentine’s Day as a married couple was so special! We pretty much had no money so we decided to stay in and keep it simple. Josh was completely in charge of dinner. I wasn’t allowed out of the bedroom while he got everything ready. When he finally let me in, he had the table all set up. He had a bunch of daffodils (silk), which are my favorite flowers, in a cute Valentine’s vase, candles and sparkling cider. He made bow-tie pasta with alfredo sauce It wasn’t the best pasta ever, but I LOVED all the effort he put in! There were even yummy mini-cupcakes for dessert. Josh is such a sweetie! He did good!
