Friday Fleamarket - Scrap Matters Collab new Strip the Date, Going in Circles 3 - Sya's Blueprints Journaling reads: My mom, CA HJ (she never goes by her maiden name, but I included it so that you all will know all about her). She is a great woman! My dad, her husband of 35 years, would agree. She is just an incredible woman. She taught me how to love. She loves my dad, Kimberly and I, and she adores her grandchildren. When she met Pete, we all knew she would love him, too. When she would come home from work, we would snuggle on the couch and I loved to smell the last hint of perfume left on her from the day. It is such a sweet memory! She also taught me how to laugh! Not just little giggles, but hardy laughs, with gusto. She didn’t laugh that way herself, but the things she said and did were so funny that I laughed with such fullness. On the weekends she would let Kimbo and I put makeup on her or do her hair as she would fall asleep. When she woke up, we would laugh so hard! And even as an adult, we laugh until we cry, over the silliest things. Sometimes its when we are tired, but not always. I’ll never forget the nights on scrapbook retreats when we would laugh so hard we were afraid we were going to wake someone up! |
