As far as Logan and Joshua are concerned, the best view from the house is from the front window ... especially on Tuesday mornings at 9:30, when the garbage truck rolls by. Those two will run from any part of the house to catch a glimpse of these heroes in jumpsuits haul away our trash. This spring, we got “lucky” when a gust of wind blew debris into the lightpole in our front yard. IREA (the electric company) was dispatched on March 5, 2009 to repair the fixture. Logan and Josh watched one cherry picker secure the broken light; then Logan’s preschool friends (Charlotte, Paige, and Jacob) arrived just in time for “Act 2,” when the workers actually replaced the light.
