This is my daughter seeing Ariel for the first time. My daughter loves Ariel and has loved her for over three years. She often talks about Ariel like she lives in the house, even dreams about her, King Tritan. When she's bathing, she thinks she's a mermaid--oh wait, I forgot, King Tritan granted her wish and she IS a mermaid. So there is a connection between my daughter and Ariel.

The journaling reads:
One of the first things that Baleigh did when we got to Disney was visit Ariel. It was hot that day. When we left Pennsylvania it was chilly that we wore heavier clothes. When we got to Disney, we quickly realized we should have worn something cooler! To cool off while waiting our turn to see Ariel, Baleigh rolled her pants up, took off her sweatshirt and played in the Grotto that had water misting and spraying the children and the parents waiting in line. We had waited for over an hour to see Ariel all while listening to Baleigh whining that she was hot, that she wanted to go home, why she couldn't see Ariel. Finally that moment came, the moment that made it all worthwhile, it was Baleigh's turn to see Ariel! She took a running leap towards Ariel screaming her name all while Mama and the Photopass Photographer captured this moment. There really is one Ariel and Baleigh was able to see her, share her stories and secrets!
