Journaling reads: So here’s the story. We went to see “ Up” at the movie theater. Keith was holding Noah and we were pretty sure he’d go to sleep fast. But half an hour in to the movie he was still awake. Keith brought him over to me and told me he knew Noah was sleepy and ready to go to sleep but was just fighting it and could I try to put him to sleep. So I took him and immediately felt that his clothes were wet. I smelled my hand and knew right away it was poop. And a lot of it. I took him out to the bathroom but there was no changing table in there. So I went back into the theater and changed him under a light at the entrance. He was covered in poop and I had to change his clothes as well. I don’t know how Keith didn’t realize he was dirty. So when the movie was over and we were walking out, I asked him about it. He said that he had felt the wetness but thought it was spit up. We walked outside into the bright sun and were hit with another surprise. Keith was also covered in poop! It was all over his left hand and arm and covered the left side of his shorts. He had sat through the whole movie with no idea that he was coated in that nasty stuff. He had even bought a big container of popcorn and then separated it into little cups for the girls - luckily he’d used his right hand for that. We laughed about it the whole way to the car. Four hours later we were sitting out on the back porch. I looked down at Noah’s feet and there it was - even more poop. It was in between every toe on his left foot and going up his leg. There was also some on my leg. So thank you Noah, for the birthday gift that kept on giving. Gifts of laughter and gifts of poop. Definitely a birthday to remember.

Oh too funny! I remember those days of poop all over! Poor guy to have it all over and not realize it. This will be a cherished layout.

Okay, when I read this I had to share it with someone else. So I called my husband over and read it to him. He chuckled the entire way through the journaling. Then my girls came in wondering what was funny. I showed them the layout and then read the journaling. Needless to say our whole family got a laugh out of your "not so funny" incident!! Love that you journaled/scrapped about this movie event.

Will you ever see Up again?!

OH my!!!!! Never having had kids, I'm just speechless with this story! Both about the poop being so - ummmm - poopy and about your DH not knowing? Ack! Did he not smell it? Oh man! I love that you scrapped this, but the poor kid will never hear the end of it! LOL And isn't UP backwards PU? LOL
