Journaling:
During a visit back home, my sister in law wanted to throw my brother a surprise birthday party! We did a “fiesta” themed birthday, we even bought candles that said Happy Birthday in Spanish! When the night finally came around, all our friends as well as our family, turned out the lights and waited in the living room to surprise him. My dad came in, but my brother was no where to be found. I opened the door to see what was up and saw him walking back to his car. I asked him what he was doing, and he seemed a little confused as to why I was asking. So here we were, all waiting in the dark for him to walk through the door. About 2 minutes later here he comes. We surprised him, and all had a good laugh over what had happened. He wanted to make sure his car was locked...not knowing that we were all waiting for him, the guest of honor, to surprise him!
