At the beginning of winter we ended up with all three kids sick with viruses and other bugs. Ainslie had it the worst, and it was a good 5 weeks of wheezing, coughing, temperatures, Drs visits, and not much sleep! So, Ainslie and I ended up spending quite a lot of time sitting in the
car in the warm, and out of the rain and wind whilst the others went out to explore various places. This way, we still got to be out of the house! I definitely needed it for my sanity. We had lots of lovely little moments, lots of smiles and giggles and games of boo! I just love spending time with my girls, and it was a real treat to be able to have some one on one time with Ainslie. This photo was taken on my birthday - after a fluffy and coffee in Devonport, Joseph, Arie & the big girls went for a walk at North Head, and we stayed
toasty in the car. Enjoy this moment? I did.
